Albert Napoli

Senior Lecturer of Clinical Entrepreneurship

Albert Napoli is an expert in the family business and family systems and partners with CEOs, family members, and non-family member executives to create a plan for a smooth transition from one generation to another within the family business. He has a deep understanding of multigenerational planning and the types of conflict affecting enterprising families and families of wealth. Having grown up in a family business himself, Albert has spent over a decade helping family businesses all over the world in a variety of industries successfully position them for growth and a lasting legacy, while remaining connected, intentional, and productive. During these engagements, Albert assists the family in making better, more timely decisions, moving through transitions, protecting lasting relationships, and designing strategies to continue growth and relevancy with the changing business climate and next-generation interests.

Albert is an award-winning instructor at the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Southern California having taught the Entrepreneurial Family Business course for over a decade. During this time, he has gained the unique perspective of the next generations’ insight into successful family business successions and has been able to implement them into his consultations.

Albert holds a BS in business economics and finance and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He is currently completing his doctorate in organizational change and leadership also from the University of Southern California. Albert has five children and lives in Whittier, California.
