Morgan McCall

Professor Emeritus and Senior Research Scientist

Morgan McCall’s research on executive development and derailment has appeared in numerous articles and books, including Developing Global Executives, High Flyers, The Lessons of Experience, and most recently Using Experience to Develop Leadership Talent. He received the “Distinguished Professional Contributions Award” from SIOP, and the Executive Development Roundtable’s Marion Gislason award for “Leadership in Executive Development.” He has a B.S. degree with honors from Yale and a Ph.D. from Cornell, was Director of Research and Senior Behavioral Scientist at the Center for Creative Leadership, and is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Morgan has applied his research findings on experience-based development of leadership talent in a number of Fortune 500 companies.
